Your YouWorkForThem account is your long-term partner as you develop projects and brands for different uses and scenarios. And now there’s even more reason to rejoice, because whenever you purchase $50 worth of YouWorkForThem products, you automagically get $5 worth of store credit…and it NEVER EXPIRES.
That’s right, for every $50 you spend, we give you $5 back. We’re the first in the business to give you so much, and did we mention it never expires? Because we’re serious about being your partner for the best fonts and stock anywhere on the web. It’s all part of your YouWorkForThem account, and it’s just our way to say “thanks, partner.”
This program applies to all orders placed after May 28, 2013.
In the four months since we launched WebFonts here at YouWorkForThem, we’ve seen a big jump in our business, thanks to customers like Coca-Cola, Starbucks, West Elm, Chronicle Books, and many others. We’re no mathmagicians, but we think that’s mainly because our pricing is so straightforward and easy for our customers to understand. People like nice things at cheap prices.
But we also think it might be because of how nimble things are behind the scenes at YWFT. We’re not a huge, publicly-traded monstrosity, so we can keep overhead low, and offer things others can’t. For example, our Unlimited WebFont plan is cheaper than some vendors’ mid-level package!
Plus, you can get the Desktop, WebFont, Mobile App, eBook AND any extended license you need, via your user account, at any time, from any device. Whatever your medium, whatever your scale, YouWorkForThem has got you covered. Cheap. Easy. How many times can we say it?
Ready for the best part? Our prices are staying right where they are.
Summer’s here (for those of us in the northern hemisphere) and the time is right, and as always we’ve been busy behind the scenes here at YouWorkForThem. We’ve got some cool new features, tweaks, and general change-for-the-better to announce, so buckle up and watch the blinking lights. Read more…
It’s that time once again, and as the man said, “The line it is drawn, the curse it is cast. The slow one now, will later be fast.” Since we wrote last year’s Top 10 Fonts post, we’ve increased our font options from 6500 to over 12,000. That’s a big Twinkie! Not to mention, with fonts designed by 127 foundries from 27 countries, the Top 10 Fonts list comes from what is a truly global playing field. It’s like the Font Olympics over here. Read more…
2012: Some folks think we’re in for a change on 12/21. Some folks are all about the 1-2. And for others, 2112 is the jam. In the end, it’s all about the numbers–and we have some big ones to share.
Between YWFT and Nanamee, we now offer over 50,000 stock designs for sale. We showcase 127 of the best type foundries in the world, from 27 different countries, and we hand-pick each typeface design–over 12,000 of them. That’s a big number for us, since we only carried about 300 fonts two years ago. Also, the number 10 is significant, as we are about to reach our 10th year of business this summer. There’s also 3–the factor our business has increased by since January, 2010. Finally, the number 1 is big for us–as in first. YWFT were first to market with the wide range of powerful type testing capabilities of our TypeBrowser™ suite, and first to offer a large collection of fonts available for mobile apps and ebooks via extended licensing right in the shopping cart.
Since I took over as sole Creative Director in 2010, I have experienced the best years of my career working to bring these numbers to fruition, and I couldn’t have done it without you–our customers. So I want to say thank you, by offering our biggest font sale ever. In fact, this might be ANYONE’S biggest font sale ever.
Starting on January 9, and running until February 1st, all YWFT-designed fonts are 50% off! We have never offered discounts of this magnitude on our YWFT designs–all 140 of them.
Adam Bognar sent us this short he and Benjamin Taft put together of their latest travels, which has a nice use of YWFT Hannah in the titles. Great video guys, but next time you better invite us along as well!

We would like to take a quick breather right now to announce some new font designers on the site. First, over the next few weeks/months we will be adding designs from the massive collection of Intellecta Design, a Brazilian type foundry focused on remastering found and antique type. Second, another Brazilian foundry by the name of BRtype has currently added six unique designs to the library. Last but not least, Rui Abreu (Portugal) has joined our site and started by added his modern design Gesta to our library.
We are currently in the works of adding even more new foundries over the next few months. As well, we have hundreds of fonts (from designers like P22 and Sudtipos) waiting to be added to our library as we speak. Keep a close watch via our newsletter, Facebook, and Twitter to be notified of when these new items are posted.
Look out, Clark W. Griswold, because Soaka just parked on your front lawn. Soaka is the grotesque, raw, country cousin of our slab serifs Motown and Lollop, and brings the pain when you’re facing down those rough Cobra Kai design jobs in the middle of the night. This totally out-of-control slab serif is available in opentype format, and is coded with stylistic alternate options that offer a more playful approach. Grab a can of Blatz and get ready to crush it on your skull, ’cause it’s time to hit the street with Soaka. In honor of Soaka’s launch, we have created a special PDF type speciman, enjoy!
We are proud to announce two more amazing type foundries have joined our library, say hello to TipografiaRamis & Positype. Launching with over 20+ fonts between the two of them, they bring us amazing new scripts, serifs and sans-serifs. We are very excited to have these two designers join us and we look forward to posting more from them in the coming months.
We wanted to drop a quick post to let everyone know we have updated our Type Tester feature. We have added a larger viewing area and larger sizes of 100pt, 150pt and 200pt. We have also added character support for european characters and other special symbols, this means Read more…
