My last music post for the day? Probably. The Sleevage site keeps coming with wonderful work to check out in the field of music. A for sure bookmark.
A site dedicated to physical music media, meaning LP’s, CD’s, cassettes, and some other great devices. My favorite section being, Vinyl, because that is how I roll. The Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto lp is just amazing.
This is very off-topic from design, but is very on point if we are debating crazy. Mainly just good way to start-end the day with a good laugh?
A reference for vinyl geeks and graphic artists. Ms Kavel Rafferty’s collection of company sleeves.
Holler.
Little sneak peak at a scene in the film.
“Daft Punk’s Electroma is a film project by French duo Daft Punk. The plot revolves around the quest of two robots (the band members, played by Peter Hurteau and Michael Reich) in becoming human. The music featured in this film is not by Daft Punk. This is a first for the duo considering their previous film/DVD releases, Interstella 5555 and D.A.F.T. (the latter being a collection of music videos). The music in this film includes works by Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, Sébastien Tellier, Curtis Mayfield, Linda Perhacs, Jackson C. Frank, and Mathieu Tonetti.”
I think I can say this is NSFW in some studios. Similar to the Benny Benassi video last year, I’m assuming its the same director.
My dear friend Chris just updated Dstrukt.com with a few new bits and bobs of which include a collection of new boards, a music video for UK band Athlete plus a show package for MTV Asia with audio by Hecq. This month also sees Dstrukt & partner in crime The Ronin speaking at this years OFFF conference in New York, aside from speaking we’ve also been asked to produce the event’s title sequence.
