beer.jpgApparently they just wanted a shot of the beer splashing a bit as the mugs hit.
Didn’t expect the entire thing to shatter. Another reason why I love flickr.

putin.jpgI could care less about Vladimir Putin, but this photo of him (by Platon) on the cover of Time magazine is perfect. It has a very amazing quality to it, similar to that of Mao’s famous painted portrait for China. Time Magazine’s Person of the Year

“Oliver Stone has bought a plot of land between Bangkok and Pattaya as the first step to building a new movie studio in Thailand.” – Bagkok Post | It was only a matter of time that another aspect of America gets outsourced. How far this goes, only time will tell?

This is very off-topic from design, but is very on point if we are debating crazy. Mainly just good way to start-end the day with a good laugh?

800px-virgin_america_a320_cabin.jpgDid you know facts from their website: “Virgin America is the first U.S. airline with mood lighting. There are 3000 MP3s onboard every flight. You can plug in to 110v power at every seat. You can order fresh food when you want it, from the screen at your seat. Red, our in-flight entertainment system, has over 25 pay-per-view Hollywood movies on demand. Virgin America is a cashless airline. Place your order, swipe your card, and you’re done.” From what I have heard and seen about Virgin America, it looks tops for flying in America. Being American and flying on boring, ugly and terrible airlines like US, Northwest, Delta and United, its nice to see a company like Virgin come into the states and step it up a notch. Not only that, but its actually cheap too! There is a review over at Wired.

Far from being new, but its always good to come back to the things you love once and awhile.
