The YouWorkForThem Blog

This Saturday is the first of a quarterly event held in Minneapolis, called Connoisseur. It will feature a mixture of music, video and fashion/art. YouWorkForThem will be premiering a new video during the event. Connoisseur will be held at the stunning historic Suburban World Theater. Check the site for a mix and see you there!

uncredited_blog.jpgStill haven’t picked up this hot book? Ok ok, we understand, you still aren’t sure and want to know more. Well never fear, awhile back the motion graphic news site Motionographer posted a quality review here, saying “Every page is a treasure trove of inspiration and history…”. We hope this review helps you finally decide how to spend that hard earned cash, enjoy!

Official music video for The Heavy’s ‘Coleen’. Really digging this video, its like a little more down to earth version of Geoff McFetridge in motion.

Nice video with lots of silly type styles. The part that spoofs the old school HBO intro is super nice.

So today I was eating lunch here in Bangkok, when all of a sudden The Good, The Bad & The Ugly came on. So here I am posting these intro titles because they are so damn hot. Produced in 1966, there is also a Spanish version: El Bueno, El Feo, El Malo.

More hotness found on Vimeo. Vimeo has also launched a new Facebook app as well. They are becoming a very nice service indeed. Sure beats the hell out of nasty YouTube.

ab_0.jpgWay too much annoying pop-up overload, but still interesting work to be found at Moresoon.

diamond.pngOh, Diamond, Diamond, thou little knowest the mischief thou hast done! Crazyness (The interwebs continues its progression of insanity).

od01.pngod02.pngonedotzero is now on Flickr with a mother load of pictures from its events over the past decade. If you got some downtime, go over and check out what they have been doing to support the motion arts.

Cut and Paste is hosting “See What’s Possible.” Looks like $20,000 prize, not at all chump change. Anyway, thought you may want to check it out and take a shot at it.
