Based in Berlin, OGJ is the font label of Oliver Jeschke. Associated with the Max Bill font library, Oliver develops commercial and custom type designs for businesses and individual clients around the world. Much of his recent work has involved creating digital revivals of type designs originally created by the late Max Bill (1908-1994), a prolific architect, graphic designer, typographer, artist, and universal scholar from Switzerland.

One of Oliver’s most recent releases is Sequel Sans, a modernist classic designed in cooperation with the Max Bill Georges Vantongerloo Foundation in Zurich.

Sequel Sans is a timeless design, updated for the modern era while remaining true to its midcentury heritage. It echoes the aesthetics of Max Bill’s artistry, with an emphasis on precision and clarity. Resolute and candid, Sequel Sans conveys a message that is both modest and honest – two key characteristics that Max himself felt would lead to not only improved design, but a life well lived.

Sequel Sans is a powerhouse font family that consists of 48 weights and widths, allowing for extensive design versatility and cohesion though multiple media channels. It’s well suited to publishing, including newspapers and magazines, e-books, presentations, editorials and headlines, advertising, displays, corporate communications, web content, and mobile applications.

Offering case sensitive forms, discretionary ligatures, ordinals, and tabular figures, Sequel Sans extends multilingual support to Western, Central, and Eastern European languages for exceptional accessibility.

Right now through September 15, 2017, Sequel Sans is on sale for 82% off of its regular price so it’s a fantastic time to add this one to your collection.

OGJ currently offers four products through YouWorkForThem but we’re looking forward to seeing more of Oliver’s type design in the future. Visit his portfolio to check out the rest of his work and check back often for new releases!
