Year after year, major brands turn to YWFT fonts to bring power and emotion to their campaigns. When Starbucks wanted to infuse their 40-year anniversary promotion (2011) with a whimsical and people-friendly feel, there was no better choice than YWFT Hannah, our own in-house champion.

YWFT Hannah is a type design comprised of three versions that work together as one, producing not variation and contrast between weights but between widths. The loose, hand drawn quality adds yet another layer of personality to the font. Hannah is similar to one of our popular Handset designs, YWFT Thinaire, but is available in OpenType format which makes Hannah much more versatile. There are also some additional unicase characters included in the font which can be activated as contextual alternates in OpenType.

YWFT Hannah was designed in 2007-2008, and has seen many clones soon follow. The difference between YWFT Hannah and these clones is that none of them offer the powerful OpenType features we developed into YWFT Hannah.
